Safeguarding

The South African Rugby Union (SARU) recognises the risks of offensive, harmful or abusive behaviour posed towards persons, participants and vulnerable persons, but especially athletes, who participate in rugby. To mitigate such risks, SARU has developed a policy and reporting form to respond accordingly and in line with the relevant legislations.
