The teams were level 17-17 at halftime after a lively first half display by both sides.
 
The Hurricanes got the better of the Jaguares last weekend in Argentina and on Saturday they sealed another triumph with a dominant second half display.
 
However, the visitors from Durban were dealt two early injury blows when Springbok wing Makazole Mapimpi (facial injury) and debutant flyhalf Boeta Chamberlain (failed HIA) both had to be replaced.
 
Wes Goosen, Ngani Laumape, Lam (2) and Dane Coles all crossed for the Hurricanes while Jordie Barrett kicked 13 points. 

For the Cell C Sharks their try-scorers were Madosh Tambwe, Tyler Paul and Mzamo Majola with Chamberlain and Sanele Nohamba adding the extra kicking points.
 
The visitors from Durban gave a very good account of themselves in a hugely entertaining first half despite the two early injury disruptions. Tambwe and Paul scored in reply to the home team’s opening two tries dotted down by Goosen and Laumape.

Lam gave the Kiwi side the all-important momentum and advantage, which they never relinquished, through two quick tries to put a decent scoreboard gap between the two teams. 

Coles added another try for the Canes shortly after coming on as a replacement hooker, while Majola managed to score the visitors only second try.
 
The South Africans play the Rebels next week in Melbourne while the Hurricanes have a bye.
