The SA Schools team is selected each year after the FNB Craven Week for Under-18 teams. The first time the team played was in 1974 and in recent years, they've played as SA U18 in a locally-hosted international tournament against their counterparts from countries such as England, Ireland, Wales, France and Italy, with the SA U18 'A' also part of the tournament.
