Catha Jacobs originally hoped to cross the Atlantic Ocean on a canoe, but her natural aptitude for rugby instead saw her crisscrossing the world with a Springbok on her chest after making her Test debut against Kenya in 2021. She has played in two Women's Rugby World Cups and won the English Premier League with Saracens. Jacobs, a mobile and clever loose forward, also represented South Africa in sevens rugby.
