Lerato Makua, a hard-working, fast and skilful loose forward, made her Test debut against Wales in 2021, and in 2022, she was named in both the Springbok Women and Springbok Women’s Sevens teams for their respective Rugby World Cups. A former Junior Springbok Women player, Makua had to cover on the wing on debut.
