Aseza Hele is renowned for her excellent ball-carrying ability, which makes her a vital cog in the Bok Women’s plan to get go-forward ball. She had beaten more defenders than any other player at the 2022 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand and has since continued to be a menace to defences since. A former netball player who also played sevens for South Africa, Hele made her international debut in 2018 and was named Women’s Achiever at the SA Rugby Awards the following year.
