Lucell Hanekom has shown promise as an age group player for Griquas, and the hard-working hooker made her international debut against Madagascar in 2023. After returning from a long spell on the sidelines in 2024, she made a successful return to the field and kept delivering solid performances for DHL WP. She was named in the Women’s RWC squad in 2025.
