Obstacles in life moulded Nadine Roos into a determined, strong-willed and highly disciplined athlete with superb athletic ability. Rated by peers and pundits as one of the very best in both fifteens and sevens rugby, where she became an Olympian in 2024, the versatile Roos can play in numerous positions in the backline. She made her Bok Women debut in 2021 and has started Tests at scrumhalf, flyhalf, wing and fullback. The current SA Rugby Women’s Player of the Year in 2022, 2024 and 2025 played in in the 2018 and 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens tournaments, as well as the 2022 and 2025 Rugby World Cups in New Zealand and England.
