Her talents in rugby came to the fore when she was selected for the SA Students Sevens team and Sizo Solontsi followed through on that promise by combining successful stints with the national teams in sevens and fifteens, where she has now played in two Rugby World Cups. She holds an honours degree in Sport Science as well as a postgraduate certificate in Education and was a member of the historic first Springbok Women’s Sevens squad to participate in the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024. The hard-working loose forward made her Test debut against Uganda in Brakpan in 2019.
