Aphelele Fassi is a skilful fullback who first burst onto the Springbok scene in 2021. His on-field contributions, including playmaking, speed, and spatial awareness, were pivotal to the Boks’ successful 2024 season, which included winning the Castle Lager Rugby Championship and securing a full house of victories on the November Tour. He continued to make his presence felt for the national team in 2025 before his season was cut short by an injury.
