A powerful and dynamic inside centre, Damian de Allende has been a key figure in the Bok midfield since the retirement of centurion Jean de Villiers. He made his Springbok debut in 2014 and has formed formidable midfield combinations with Lukhanyo Am and Jesse Kriel. De Allende has been a force to be reckoned with in the midfield, where his hard running and strong carries saw him play a key role in the Boks’ triumphant 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cup campaigns.
