BIO

In 2024, Pieter-Steph du Toit – who played for the SA U20s when they won the Junior World Championship in 2012 – became the first South African player to win the coveted World Rugby Men's 15s Player of the Year award twice. He has also won the SA Rugby Player of the Year titles in 2016, 2018 and 2019. An uncompromising forward who loves making big hits, he is equally comfortable playing on the side of the scrum and at lock. With three Rugby World Cup tournaments to his name since making his Springbok debut in 2013, Du Toit is a fine leader and one of the core players in the Bok team.
