The Women's First Division in 2023 was won by the Free State Women, who beat the 2022 champions, the SWD Eagirls, in a nail-biting final in Bloemfontein. The competition featured eight teams who played each other over a single round of league matches. The other teams who competed where the Leopards and Limpopo Blue Bulls, who were in the semi-finals, as well as the Valke, Pumas, Griffons and Griquas.
