The Vodacom United Rugby Championship quarter-finals will play out in a fortnight in Pretoria, Durban, Dublin, and Glasgow, following an exciting final pool round in which the top eight teams and the venues for the four playoff rounds were locked in.

The Airlink Pumas will host the 2025 SA Cup final in Nelspruit next Saturday following their dramatic 31-29 win over the Sanlam Boland Kavaliers on Friday at the Mbombela Stadium, while the defending champions, Suzuki Griquas, managed to edge the Toyota Cheetahs 41-38 in their nail-biting semi-final in Kimberley on Saturday afternoon.

The Springbok Women concluded a very productive two-week camp in Stellenbosch on Friday, with the coaching staff pleased with the effort from the players.

Anathi Qolo will lead the Springbok Women to Madagascar, where they will defend their Rugby Africa Women’s Cup title next month against Uganda, Kenya and Madagascar. The three Tests will all be played at Stade Makis in Antananarivo, on 7, 11 and 15 June respectively.

Springbok coach Rassie Erasmus on Thursday named a group of 54 local and overseas-based players to attend the team’s second alignment camps, with Juarno Augusts, Vincent Tshituka, and Ntokozo Makhaza invited to their first national alignment camps.
