Boland loose forward Tapiwa Tsomondo helped himself to three tries.
It was the Cavaliers third win in a row and saw them keep pace with DHL Western Province at the top of the South pool section, sitting just a point below them in second place.
In the match the Cavaliers found a game Bulldogs in the first half, only scoring two converted tries in a three minute spell.They powered away in the second half with a further six unanswered tries as the home side's challenge faded away.
In the 15th minute the Cavaliers then made the first breakthrough, when Valentino Norman received the ball, beat a man and sprinted away to score under the posts. Flyhalf Garrick Mattheus added the extras for a 7-0 lead.
Straight from the kick off that became 14-0 as the Cavaliers secured the ball and launched a long range attack, again finding space down the right hand side before cutting infield where good hands and support ended with Tsomondo diving over to the left of the uprights.
Straight from the kick off the Bulldogs tried to run from their own 22m, but lost the ball, allowing the Cavaliers to seize on it and put it through the hands with Tsomondo dotting down for his second, while Mattheus missed the extras.
A yellow card to Bulldogs replacement hooker Vuyisani Mavuso after repeated infringements in the 47th minute was then a death blow as the team already struggling to handle the visitors with 15 men were now even more stretched with a man less.
Boland scored three tries during his spell on the sideline, starting by using their numerical advantage to scrum the Bulldogs back allowing eighthman Patrick O'Brien to dive on the ball for a converted score in the 49th minute.
The Bulldogs were then punished twice on attack, losing the ball and seeing it spread to the wings as Wellman scored his second and left wing Shilton van Wyk got onto the score sheet, with fullback Joshua Vermeulen and replacement flyhalf Monty Dumond adding the extras for a 40-0 lead after 59 minutes.
Once back to 15 men the Bulldogs did become a bit more competitive, but the Cavaliers continued to force the pace leading to mistakes.
The home side lost a defensive line out in the 62nd minute allowing Tsomondo to go over for his hattrick and then conceded on the full-time hooter as Van Wyk sprinted through a tired defence to score his second and seal a dominant win.
