The Bok trio of Ruan Dreyer (prop), Willem Alberts (lock) and Ross Cronje (scrumhalf) are all back in the run-on team in place of Sti Sithole, Marvin Orie and Morne van den Berg respectively.
Swanepoel, who made his Emirates Lions debut against the Jaguares in February, replaces injured Gianni Lombard.

Van Rooyen also included Reinhard Nothnagel as the locking partner to Alberts, with Ruben Schoeman being rested as part of the rotation policy.
The Emirates Lions will also start the match with a number of new faces on the bench.
Jan-Henning Campher replaces PJ Botha at hooker, Wiehahn Herbst comes in for Nathan McBeth at prop, Hacjivah Dayimani takes over from Marnus Schoeman as the extra loose forward and Andre Warner has been named as back-up scrumhalf.
Divan Rossouw is also back in the mix and slots into the vacancy left by Swanepoel’s promotion.
