Blitzboks sign off in style as Powell bids farewell
It was the farewell Neil Powell deserved as the long-serving head coach of the Springbok Sevens team and although it wasn’t in the Rugby World Cup Sevens 2022 final - as the team and so many South Africans had hoped for - the Blitzboks finally delivered a performance worthy of the contribution their coach had made to the local sevens game in a career spanning more than two decades.
